Will it fit my light socket?

The camera measures approximately 3.2 × 3.2 × 6.6 inches and comes with a 3.75-inch socket extender. Check socket compatibility and leave enough space for the camera to pan and tilt.

What do I need to set it up?

A compatible powered light socket, 2.4GHz WiFi and the supported app. Switch off power before installation, then follow the supplied setup instructions.

Can I check my camera when I’m away?

Use the supported app to access live view while away. The camera must stay powered and connected to WiFi, and your viewing device needs internet access.

Do I need a paid subscription?

Descriptive AI alerts and intelligent motion tracking require a compatible Luna subscription, sold separately. These are optional enhancements to the core camera functions.

How does local recording work?

Pan-tilt changes the viewing direction; it does not show every direction simultaneously. Night-vision results depend on lighting and camera settings.

Does the camera run on batteries?

No. It draws power from a compatible light socket, so there is no camera battery to recharge.

Will it work if I turn off the light switch?

If the switch cuts power to the socket, the camera will also turn off. Keep the socket powered while monitoring.

Should I switch off power before fitting it?

Yes. Switch off power before installing or removing the camera and follow the supplied installation instructions.

Can the extender help with a recessed socket?

The 3.75-inch extender provides additional clearance. Check your fixture dimensions and make sure the camera head has room to move.

Does 360° pan-tilt show every direction at once?

No. Pan-tilt lets you rotate and adjust the camera’s direction. The live view shows the area the lens is currently facing.

Will night-time video always appear in full color?

Night-time image quality depends on available lighting and camera settings. The built-in LED and spotlight provide additional illumination.

What if WiFi is weak where I want to install it?

Check your 2.4GHz WiFi signal at the intended location before installation. A reliable connection is needed for consistent live viewing.

Is watching live video the same as recording it?

No. Live view shows what is happening now. Recording saves footage for later review and requires the supported storage setup.
